Danny Sorrell - Youth Minister
June 1, 1997 Danny Sorrell began work as Youth Minister of the Campbell Street Church of Christ. Before coming to Campbell Street, Danny worked 11 years for Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson. After graduating from FHU in 1986 Danny worked two years as an Admissions Counselor visiting schools and churches promoting Christian education. For the past nine years, Danny has served as Dean of Student Activities overseeing new student orientation, social clubs, intramural sports, student activities, student lectureship, and coordinating a variety of special events. While at Freed-Hardeman, Danny continued his education at Memphis State University earning a Masters of Education degree in 1989. In 1993, Danny also received the Masters of Ministry degree from Freed-Hardeman University.
In December of 1986, Danny married the former Tamie Rhea DePriest. Danny and Tamie have two children; Morgan born January 21, 1993 and Matthew born April 18, 1996. Before coming to Campbell Street, the Sorrells worshiped at the Estes Church of Christ in Henderson where Danny served as Campus Minister and as a Deacon. Other congregations where Danny has worked include the Richmond Hill Road Church in Augusta, Georgia and the Bethel Springs Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

David Knox - Assistant Youth Minister
David is originally from Sparta, TN. He attended Freed-Hardeman University and graduated in 2006 with a BA in Bible. He worked 2 summers as a counselor at Mid-south Youth Camp and served as president for the University Program Council at Freed-Hardeman. David filled the role of Youth Intern at Campbell Street during the summer of 2005.

David Newberry - Involvement Minister
David Newberry began working with the Campbell Street Church of Christ as part-time Involvement Minister on September 1, 1996. In addition to his work with Campbell Street, David serves as the Director of Annual Giving with Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson.
Prior to coming to Jackson, David served for 14 years with the Laurel Church of Christ in Knoxville, Tennessee (1982-1994, Campus Minister at the University of Tennessee 1994-1996, and Minister of Involvement and Administration). Prior to moving to Knoxville, David served as Associate Minister with the Florence Boulevard Church of Christ in Florence, Alabama.
David received his B.A. in Communications in 1978 from Freed-Hardeman University and his M.A.R. in 1993 from David Lipscomb University. He is married to the former Donna England and they have two children: Jonathan and Laura. Donna teaches math and computer courses at Jackson Christian School where Laura attends and Jonathan is a student at Freed-Hardeman University.

Ray Hawk - Visitation & Communication Minister
Ray has worked in Jackson since 1979, first with the East Chester congregation, and after the merger, with the Campbell Street church. He has served as a bishop in the East Chester and Campbell Street churches. He continues to serve in the capacity of visitation, personal evangelism, radio evangelism, and writing.
He is married to Mary Nell Taylor. They have two sons, Don and Mark. Mark lives in the Jackson area at Three Way with his wife Ginger and their six children, Tyler, Andy, Noah, Riley, Nathan and Emily. Don lives in Colorado.
Ray has written a number of study books for Bible classes. He continues to take advantage of new medias of preaching and teaching the gospel of Christ.
