Barrier: Covetousness

  

(The word is most often used to refer to an unhealthy desire for what one does not possess: Usually wealth, sexual desire of someone who is not your mate, fame, etc...)

    HUNGER

    RIGHTEOUSNESS

    • state of him who is as he ought to be, righteousness, the condition acceptable to God
    • integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting
    • The word "righteousness" is found dozens of times in Psalms and Romans.

     

    Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Matthew 5:6)

    But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

    "7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away.
